A new virus outbreak in China | Hantavirus!

Already the world got a big wound with the pandemic Coronavirus outbreak. The world is not recovered from this Coronavirus till now. No medicine is not found yet. But now there is going to be some other virus that may hit the world again.

A guy in china got tested positive of a new unknown virus named Hanta. World got fear that this might be an another pandemic. The guy who tested positive after his death was travelled in a bus which consists of 32 passengers. They are now under observation.

This Hantavirus is originated from rodents. This can cause varied disease syndrome accross the people. Hantaviruses in the Americas are known as “New World” hantaviruses and may cause hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS). Other hantaviruses, known as “Old World” hantaviruses, are found mostly in Europe and Asia and may cause hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS).


In 1978, near the bank of Hantan river in korea few people were diseased with Korean hemorrhagic fever. After researches it was found that it was originated from rodents. Because it was originated near a river named Hantan it was named as Hantavirus. Actually this was not a new one between 1951 and 1953 more than a 3000 people was suffered from hemorrhagic fever. It was observed that it is caused from hantavirus.

Symptoms and cure

Its symptoms consists of high fever and kidney related problems. The effect of Hantavirus was redused by controlling the temperature of the body and in severe condition of kidney related issues the kidney diagnosis was worked fine.

As of now the outbreak of hantavirus is not such a big issue as it can be cured and it cannot spread by social contact. It can only spread when the residuals of the rodents are contacted. And also only if the residual touched hand get contacted with face, this virus can effect the person. So don’t be panic due to fake news spread via social media. Be self quarantine for a few days due to coronavirus. Be safe stay at home. Make sure washing hands with soap or sanitizers
